Valtidone Wine Fest: Ziano comes alive with a series of events and opportunities to savour the territory

The Ziano Piacentino leg of the Val Tidone Wine Fest 2021 promises to be a wonderful moment of sharing, synergies and opportunities to show the richness of our territory, its unique nature, shared among actors who have made the territory and its precious resources their strong point.

Already on the evening of Saturday, September 11, from the charming natural panoramic terrace of the restaurant Le Proposte di Corano, the anticipation of thePress Tour of this event will take place, involving food bloggers and journalists in a dinner where the food and wines of our territory will be the protagonists.

Promoters of the evening, the Consorzio di Tutela Vini DOC Colli Piacentini, the Associazione Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori dei Colli Piacentini and the Associazione Sette Colli di Ziano will present guests with the wines chosen for the occasion in combination with the menu designed for the evening: a combination that will fully represent the food and wine essence of our valleys.

Commitment, dedication and collaboration are thus the key words that characterize the 2021 edition of the entire event and signify the importance of synergy among the actors involved in promoting the area and supporting the local realities and producers who are its beating engine.

During the Ziano stage, the Consortium for the Protection of Colli Piacentini DOC Wines will not only support the producers of Val Tidone, who are present on site, but will also aim to involve the production realities of the other valleys - Val Nure, Val Trebbia and Val d'Arda - through the tasting of their wines, with the aim of making the experience of tasting the wine production of the entire Colli Piacentini territory complete. A unique experience of which the Consortium is a spokesman, enhancing the peculiarities and distinctive characteristics of each production area.

Hospitality, food and wine entertainment and the uniqueness of the area will make this stage of Val Tidone Wine Fest 2021 a valuable opportunity to tell the story of the values and traditions that make our area unique.

"The Colli Piacentini represent our greatest heritage, made up of precious natural and human resources that make it unrepeatable," explains Marco Profumo, president of the Wine Consortium. "This is why we want to tell its story, to transmit its deep values, welcoming tourists and accompanying them in the immersive experiences of a territory that becomes emotional."

Da noi la vita si si sipping, a message that accompanies the renewed look of the Consortium in terms of communication, is in fact the synthesis of how in the Colli Piacentini territory the experience is unique, totalizing, in full DOC style.

"When we sip a glass of wine from our Hills," the president continues, "we taste the territory, the values that make it unique, attractive and differentiating. We capture the essence of a lifestyle that makes authenticity and genuineness its strong points, to be told through the experiences of our producers."

An important commitment, therefore, that shared by the presidents of the associations involved, Marco Profumo (Consorzio di Tutela Vini DOC Colli Piacentini), Davide Valla (Associazione Sette Colli di Ziano) and Elisabetta Virtuani (Associazione Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori dei Colli Piacentini), which increasingly concretizes the common goal of promoting and enhancing the unique territory of the Colli Piacentini.

Below are the programs of events planned for the entire day of Sunday, Sept. 12, in the scenic Ziano Piacentino area, which is further enlivened by the traditional grape festival that this year reaches its 69th edition, increasingly rich in events and opportunities to savor the territory and its uniqueness.
