Valtidone Wine Fest: Ziano comes alive with a series of events and opportunities to savour the territory

The Ziano Piacentino stage of the Val Tidone Wine Fest 2021 promises to be a wonderful moment of sharing, synergies and opportunities to show the richness of our territory, its unique nature, shared between actors who have made the territory and its precious resources their strong point.

Already on the evening of Saturday 11 September, from the suggestive natural panoramic terrace of the restaurant Le Proposte di Corano, the preview of the Press Tour of this event will take place, involving food bloggers and journalists in a dinner where the food and wines of our territory will be the protagonists.

Promoters of the evening, the Consortium for the Protection of Colli Piacentini DOC Wines, the Association of Wine and Flavours of the Colli Piacentini and the Sette Colli di Ziano Association will present guests with the wines chosen for the occasion in combination with the menu planned for the evening: a combination that will fully represent the food and wine essence of our valleys.

Commitment, dedication and collaboration are therefore the key words that characterise the 2021 edition of the entire event and underline the importance of the synergy between the players involved in promoting the territory and supporting the local realities and producers, who are its driving force.

During the Ziano stage, the Consorzio di Tutela Vini DOC Colli Piacentini will not only support the producers from the Val Tidone, who will be present on site, but will also aim to involve the producers from the other valleys - Val Nure, Val Trebbia and Val d'Arda - through the tasting of their wines, with the aim of making the experience of tasting the wine production of the entire Colli Piacentini area complete. A unique experience for which the Consortium is the spokesperson, enhancing the peculiarities and distinctive features of each production area.

Hospitality, wine and food entertainment and the uniqueness of the territory will make this stage of the Val Tidone Wine Fest 2021 a precious opportunity to tell the values and traditions that make our territory unique.

"The Colli Piacentini represent our greatest heritage, made up of precious natural and human resources that make it unrepeatable," explains Marco Profumo, President of the Wine Consortium. "This is why we want to tell its story, transmit its profound values, welcoming tourists and accompanying them in the immersive experiences of a territory that becomes emotional".

Where life is savoured, a message that accompaniesthe renewed appearance of the Consortium in terms of communication, is in fact the synthesis of how in the Colli Piacentini area the experience is unique, all-embracing, in full DOC style.

"When we sip a glass of wine from our hills," continues the President, "we taste the territory, the values that make it unique, attractive and differentiating. We capture the essence of a lifestyle that makes authenticity and genuineness its strong points, to be told through the experiences of our producers".

An important commitment, therefore, that shared by the presidents of the associations involved, Marco Profumo (Consorzio di Tutela Vini DOC Colli Piacentini), Davide Valla (Associazione Sette Colli di Ziano) and Elisabetta Virtuani (Associazione Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori dei Colli Piacentini), which further concretises the common goal of promoting and enhancing the unique territory of the Colli Piacentini.

Below is the programme of events planned for the entire day of Sunday 12 September in the scenic setting of Ziano Piacentino, which comes to life even more with the traditional Grape Festival, now in its 69th edition, increasingly rich in events and opportunities to enjoy the territory and its uniqueness.
