The Reds of the Duchy enchant Castell'Arquato in celebration

June 10, 2024

A busy day of tradition and good wine was held on Sunday, October 3, in one of Italy's most beautiful medieval villages.

Castell'Arquato came alive with the traditional Chestnut Festival, an event that has been a part of the town's historical tradition for years and this year was joined by the first edition of a new festival dedicated to wine.

I Rossi del Ducato, the event organized by the La Goccia Association and the organizing group of the Monterosso Val d'Arda Festival, to highlight the red wines of the provinces of Parma and Piacenza, involved about twenty wineries that told the story of the unique wine production of the duchy territory through the tasting of their wines.

Viale delle Rimembranze was thus transformed into a true experiential taste itinerary, where visitors were able to appreciate the unique and distinctive characteristics of wines that fully represent the value of a unique territory.

"As a consortium, we attended the event with great pride."

This is how President Marco Profumo explains the importance of the purpose of this event

‍"the common thread that unites the territory of the provinces of Parma and Piacenza is the undisputed quality of the food and wine products it offers. Shared moments of resource promotion can only make the recognition of our value even more effective throughout the national and international scene."

The Reds of the Duchy is part of the promotional activities and enhancement of the territory, in which the Consortium has decided to participate this year, to support and relaunch in terms of value the Colli Piacentini wine production.

A new opportunity to give voice to experience and product excellence.
