Precise rules and regulations certify our products, protecting the undisputed quality of our products.

Protected designations

The production specifications represent the production rules (in addition to those provided for by the various Community and national regulations) of the denominations for D.O.C. and I.G.T. wines protected by the Consortium.

The specifications are divided into articles which specify:

  1. The denomination, the reference vines and their composition, as well as the production area.
  2. Provisions relating to the production, characteristics of grapes, plants and yields.
  3. Information on wine-making, marketing and references to Community standards.
  4. The technical characteristics of the product for final consumption, other provisions.

Certification body

Valoritalia was founded in 2009 in response to the need to adapt to the system of controls laid down by the new Wine CMO, thanks to the collaboration of two important international organisations: Federdoc and CSQA Certificazioni.

Since its establishment, Valoritalia has set itself the ambitious goal of contributing to the growth of the wine-growing system, to guarantee the consumer the quality and origin of wine through the control of every stage of production, from the vineyard to the bottle.
