Great synergies seal the success of the Ziano leg of the Valtidone Wine Fest 2021

Great success for the second stage of the Valtidone Wine Fest 2021 with the theme "Malvasia", which took place on Sunday 12 September in Ziano, in the picturesque setting of the Colli Piacentini, in conjunction with the historic Grape Festival, now in its 69th edition.

The day, which was inaugurated by Mayor Manuel Ghilardelli and all the institutions present, succeeded in bringing together consortiums, associations, producers, Pro Loco and volunteers, who helped convey commitment and a desire to restart in order to enhance the territory and its resources.

Eighteen wineries offered their wines for tasting, with special attention given to Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, which was the star of the day.

"Our goal was to create unity, sharing of values that we convey through the products of our territory," these are the words of Davide Valla President of the Sette Colli di Ziano Association "the Consorzio di Tutela Vini DOC Colli Piacentini and the La Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori dei Colli Piacentini Association, represented by their respective Presidents, Marco Profumo and Elisabetta Virtuani, have joined us and supported us for the success of the event, contributing to the enhancement of the riches of our Hills."

At the headquarters of the Enoteca Regionale, the second outpost in all of Emilia Romagna dedicated to wine culture, which recently opened inside the municipal building in Ziano, the Wine Consortium highlighted not only the production of wineries in the Tidone Valley, but also those in the other Valleys-the Nure, Arda and Trebbia Valleys-as a spokesperson for the entire wine production of the Colli Piacentini.

During the day, the Consortium also offered a wine tasting entirely aimed at journalists and food bloggers, involving four representative producers from the area - Azienda Mossi 1558, Vitivinicola Valla, Azienda Vinicola Fratelli Piacentini and Azienda Vitivinicola Badenchini - who presented a number of Gutturnio offerings that surprised the expert palates of those present.

The Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori dei Colli Piacentini offered guided tastings inside communal gardens, while De Smart Kitchen promoted three taste trails to celebrate Malvasia in the kitchen.

Food stalls, creative and hobbyists' market, artisans, photo and oil exhibition of LaValtidone Association, used book market of the local library "Carla Carloni" enlivened the entire village of Piacenza, contributing to make special a day dedicated to the quality of the productions of our territory.
