Oh my DOC! The Consorzio Tutela Vini DOC Colli Piacentini brings the authentic experience of the territory to Palazzo Farnese.

We cannot call it just an event.

What will welcome you on 10 and 11 June within the historical walls of Palazzo Farnese is something more: it is a journey into the authentic essence of the territory, a meeting of many experiences, values, traditions that become a lifestyle, the deep identity of the Colli Piacentini.

Oh my DOC! Here, life is sipped recreates the distinctive atmosphere of the region, which is told through its productions of excellence.

The journey will begin on Friday 10 June at 16.00, inside the Ducal Chapel of Palazzo Farnese, with 'From A to DOC. The wine prospects of the Colli Piacentini".the important seminar that is part of the promotion project presented by the Consortium within the framework of the 2014-2020 RDP of the Emilia-Romagna Region.

The Round Table will be an opportunity to reflect on the prospects for the future of wine production in the Colli Piacentini area, also in the light of the revision of specifications that has been initiated, between the enhancement of the territory and sustainability.

From 5 p.m. on Friday and all day Saturday, the courtyard of Palazzo Farnese will come alive with DOC-style experiences .

It will be the producers themselves who will accompany you into the heart of the Colli Piacentini, through guided tastings of their wines, which encapsulate all the history, traditions and craftsmanship that characterises the area.

Wine excellence will meet gastronomic excellence typical of Piacenza tradition, but not only: art, music, conviviality will enrich the experience, which you will be able to savour, sip after sip.

A space will also be dedicated to 'The Myth of Malvasia', the important transnational project for the promotion and valorisation of the vine, promoted by Gal del Ducato, Gal Parnonas and Gal dell'Istria Centrale. Proposals for Malvasia from Piacenza, Parma, Greece, Istria and Karst - the places traversed by the long history of Malvasia - will be presented, with their specific characteristics.

And if you want to continue the journey, on Sunday 12 you can savour the authentic essence of the territory directly in the winery, where you can immerse yourself in the dominant notes of the land, nature, air, tranquillity and sustainability, and while enjoying a good glass of wine, you will discover that Oh my DOC! Here, life is sipped.
