The Cellar

Cantina Mossi boasts centuries of history: it has been producing wine since at least 1558. It is located on the hills of Ziano Piacentino where it cultivates the traditional varieties of the area: Barbera and Croatina for red wines, Ortrugo and Malvasia di Candia Aromatica for white wines. In recent decades it has taken care of Pink Malvasia, a rare variety produced by only three wineries in the world. During the visit to the winery it is possible to enter the Museo Contadino where agricultural and domestic tools belonging to the Mossi family for generations are kept.
