The Cellar

Casa Benna, winemakers in Castell'Arquato since 1916. The concept of "cru", which in oenology indicates a specific vineyard, in a precise and delimited geographical area, from which a wine of higher than average quality is obtained and for this reason particularly valuable, has been applied for decades. We take care of our vineyards using integrated pest management, without the use of herbicides. If necessary, the bunches are thinned out. Thanks to careful manual harvesting, we separate the individual portions of the vineyard, grouping the grapes according to organoleptic parameters and assigning them to the most suitable type of wine. For more than 30 years, pruning waste has been recovered. The range of wines focuses on the great classics of the territory.
